Admissions Calendar
This page provides information on upcoming admissions events and timelines.
2010-11 Enrollment
Families may still apply for 2010-11 enrollment. Jeff Oldham, the director of admissions, is always available for tours and to help families through the application process. Please keep in mind that applicants to grades 1-8 must also provide IQ testing results.
For 2010-11, Da Vinci has openings in all classes except Kindergarten and sixth grade. Families with children for K or 6th may still apply to be considered for the wait pool.
2011-12 Enrollment
Families looking ahead to 2011-12 are welcome to begin the application process at any time.
Family Tours and Open House Dates
Individual parent or family tours can be scheduled any time during the year (including the summer) by contacting Mr. Oldham (847-841-7532 ext 226 or joldham@dvacademy.org). Initial tours usually last 30-60 minutes and give families an opportunity to see the classrooms, to observe classroom activities, and to discuss the admission process.
Families also are welcome to attend open house admissions tours scheduled throughout the school year. Open House dates will be posted here and RSVP's are appreciated (phone or email), but walk-ins are welcome too. Parents are invited to bring children to the open hosue events.
Fall 2010 Open House Admission Tour dates:
Wednesday, November 17 at 9:30 AM

Enrollment Contracts
In February of each school year, current Da Vinci families have the opportunity to reserve spots for the next school year. Once the re-enrollment deadline passes in February, contracts for the next school year may be offered to new families for available spots. We recommend that families submit completed applications to Mr. Oldham by February to receive first consideration for available spots. Applications are accepted year-round, however, and enrollment is on a rolling basis based on available spots in each grade level. Families applying for grades that are full can be placed into a wait pool to be considered if and when a spot comes open.
