Morning Drop-Off

All grade levels begin class at 8:45 AM.  Parents can begin dropping kids off in the carpool line as early as 8:25 AM.  The morning drop-off line stops at the West entrance on the side of the school outside the gym.  Teachers and staff will be outside to escort children from their cars into the building.

Please note that the front doors at the South entrance by the flag pole will be locked until 8:25 AM.  Families who need to enter the building before that time must go to the West or North entrance.  Students who arrive to school after 8:40 AM should use the South entrance and sign in with Ms. Bruns at the front desk.

There is no parking in the front or back circles during drop-off or pick-up.  Parents who need to park must do so in a marked space in the parking lot.

Students who arrive earlier than 8:25 AM must use the Before School program unless they are in a scheduled activity.

Afternoon Pick-Up

Pre-K and Kindergarten dismiss at 2:15 PM, and the afternoon pick-up line stops at the West side entrance.  Teachers will be there to escort students to the cars.  Grades 1-8 dismiss at 3:15 PM and the carpool line extends to the North entrance by the playground.  Teachers and staff will supervise students in the carpool area.  Parents will receive a laminated name card to place in the front windshield so that teachers and staff can identify which students are next to be picked up.  Afternoon pick-up may be moved to the West entrance at the discretion of the school due to inclement weather.

Students who stay for the After School program are picked up at the North entrance.  Parents should ring the doorbell to be let inside the building to sign their child out of After Care.

Rules to Remember

• The carpool line should curve through the front circle to help prevent the line of cars from extending onto Hopps Road
• There is no parking in the front or back cirlce
• Do not leave your car while in the carpool line
• If exiting your car is necessary, please park in a marked space
• Students should not go to parked cars unaccompanied by an adult
• Always drive slowly and be alert for children or adults in the parking lot
• Please do not use your cell phone while your car is in motion
