<< BackDa Vinci Students Recognized in National Math Contest
Da Vinci Academy students in grades 2-5 recently participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest sponsored by The Art of Problem Solving. A number of very strong schools from across the country were among the 92 entered in the contest.
We are pleased to report that two-thirds of our students qualified for honorable mention by finishing in the top half of the contestants.
Eight of our students received special recognition for finishing in the top ten percent of their grade. In fourth grade, the students are Noah Hood, Ben Simon, and Katharine Stecher. In fifth grade, the students are Joe Bartusek, Nick Chen, Aurora McQueen, Ryan Thornton, and Sammy Zeng.
Congratulations to the students and to our math teachers in grades 2-5: Ms. Tu, Mrs. von Heimburg, Mr. Maskell, Mrs. Ryan, and Mrs. Detzler.
